Physiotherapy treatments with a medical prescription are reimbursed by:

Compulsory health insurance (LaMal) : In the event of illness, your sessions are covered.

Maternity: LAMal covers treatments in full from the 13th week of pregnancy until 8 weeks after giving birth. After this period, all sessions are again subject to the LAMal regime.

Important notes:

Home treatments: Your medical prescription must specify “at home” to benefit from follow-up at your residence.

Pelvic rehabilitation : Make sure your prescription mentions “pelvic/perineal rehabilitation” to optimize coverage and reimbursements.
Without prescription medical and prevention
It is also possible to receive physiotherapy treatments without a medical prescription. In this case, the costs are borne by the patient.
